Waking up
Man is an emerging god

Reckless cuts to our United States Agency for International Development (USAID) are resulting in additional starvation, suffering and death, particularly of children, in the developing world. Just one example is a recent New York Times article reporting on Sudan: Trump’s Aid Cuts Hit the Hungry in a City of Shellfire and Starvation. The Teacher, Maitreya, asserts that man is an emerging god, meaning that we human beings are on a long trajectory of evolution toward mastery of our physical, emotional and mental equipment and will eventually win the day, so to speak, and become Masters of Wisdom.
In one of 40 messages Maitreya gave through Benjamin Creme, Maitreya implores:
Man is an emerging God and thus requires the formation of modes of living which will allow this God to flourish. How can you be content with the modes within which you now live: when millions starve and die in squalor; when the rich parade their wealth before the poor; when each man is his neighbor's enemy; when no man trusts his brother? For how long must you live thus, My friends? For how long can you support this degradation? ~ #81
Maitreya is the head of a group of elder brothers to humanity in that they have completed the long journey to mastery and so we know them as the Masters of Wisdom. They serve humanity by advising and helping, most of the time, in unobserved ways to guide us on the path of evolution toward a just and peaceful cooperation to create a sustainable future for ourselves and all our children and their children, and their children’s children and so on into the future.
They suggest a plan for sharing the world’s resources in A Blueprint for Sharing: an international plan that would remove war as a tool of foreign policy within all nations. This is just one example of how the Masters work. They suggest, they advise, they council, but it is ultimately up to humanity itself, we ourselves, to respond with the endeavor needed to realize that peaceful cooperative outcome of prosperity for all. Humanity has free will and may choose a path of self destruction, but is thatwhat we desire? I think not. Let us embark on a path of wellbeing for our world and the planet by adopting A Blueprint for Sharing, thereby solving the problems of our world.

Steadily, the signs are appearing that the people are awakening from their ancient slumber and are taking the future into their hands.
The March to Gaza is yet another example of the movement that is afoot around the world. These valiant expressions of humanitarian love are symbolic of man's awakening to our human interdependence and the common needs of all peoples.
